In perhaps a desperate attempt to salvage his presidential campaign, Beto O’Rourke finally admitted what the Left really thinks about your gun rights during last night’s Democrat presidential debate.

“Hell yes we’re going to take your AR-15” O’Rourke emphasized after he vividly described how “an AR-15 shot people” at the El Paso Walmart.  Here’s the clip.

 

 

And here’s his tweet repeating that sentiment.

 

 

Texas state representative Briscoe Cain quickly responded in his best Molon Labe-esque manner tweeting “My AR is ready for you.”

Welp, that triggered the liberals pretty much. Beto viewed that little riposte as a “death threat” and Twitter quickly responded by taking down Cain’s response within hours.

 

 

Per The Guardian, Twitter said Cain’s tweet violated their policy that says “You may not threaten violence against an individual or a group of people.”

As Red State so accurately puts it, “if you read Beto’s tweet and examine the response of him and his fluffers you can see exactly how any so-called red flag law will be enforced. The same humorless, self-righteous, head-up-the-fourth-point-of-contact scolds that you encounter daily on Twitter and Facebook are going to go after your ability to own a firearm if they find any flimsy or, in this case, blatantly dishonest excuse. Saying “Molon Labe, m-f-er” will, under the red flag regime, get you a visit from the cops and a court date.”

 

 

Red State also points out that Beto’s comment was most likely staged and planned from the get-go, simply as a fundraising tool (in the same way Beto is a campaigning tool).

 

 

At Nine Line, we have to admire the quick turnaround on this t-shirt design, mere MINUTES after Beto made his proclamation during the debate. Hell’s bells that’s efficient!

As usual, Beto’s gun-grab rationale was based on how dangerous the GUN is. In his story, an AR-15 shot all those people. Just like SUVs wake up in the morning and decide to run into pedestrians. Last year, 6,277 people were killed by SUVs, but no one wants to confiscate them.

Perhaps it’s a good thing that the true liberal agenda on your Second Amendment rights has finally been unmasked. Don’t think for a moment they’d just stop with scary-looking rifles. Will be interesting to see how quickly Bernie or Joe or Liz jump on this bandwagon. Way to un-elect yourselves, folks.
