There is no question the mainstream media is biased against Donald Trump. The Media Research Center calls this “the most biased presidential campaign coverage in modern media history.”

Their most recent study shows that coverage of the President is now a staggering 95 percent negative.

“I’ve been studying the news media and elections for more than 35 years. Trust me — there’s never been anything like it,” according to Rich Noyes, research director for the conservative press watchdog.

In fact, we’ve actually come to expect the mainstream media to be overtly left-leaning.

As a result, more and more people rely on podcasts or other burgeoning alternative news sources to get a more well-rounded viewpoint. Because you certainly get that the old fashioned way.

A free exchange of ideas forms the bedrock of our rights as citizens of the United States. Social media gives basically any citizen a platform to freely express his or her (or her) opinions.

But not if Facebook has anything to do with it.

A frankly disturbing video has emerged, produced by Project Veritas, showing outright censorship occurring by at least some of the content moderators employed by Facebook.

Caught on hidden cameras, a content moderator named Lara Kontakos, was asked what she did when she saw a post supporting the president: “If someone is wearing a MAGA hat, I am going to delete them for terrorism.”

Then, Kontakos looked around at her colleagues and admitted, “I think we are all doing that.”

Another content moderator was asked if she deleted every Republican item that came up on her queue. “Yes! She replied enthusiastically, “I don’t give no f*cks, I’ll delete it.”

On the other hand, she does not take down anti-Trump content, even if it did violate policy.

“You gotta take it down but I leave it up,” she said. “If you see something that’s not supposed to be up, it’s probably me.”

A Facebook employee named Zach McElroy revealed to Project Veritas leader James O’Keefe that 75-to-80 percent of posts targeted by Facebook’s algorithm for moderator review support President Donald Trump, Republicans and conservative causes.

McElroy said of course the algorithm wasn’t human, but it had to be programmed by someone to particularly flag certain content. And those particular left-leaning people seem to be the norm at Facebook.

Steve Grimmett, a content review lead, said it was Facebook’s culture to target the president and his supporters.

“It’s a very progressive company, who’s very anti-MAGA.”

There are currently about 220,000,000 Facebook users in the United States – which represents about two-thirds of the U.S. population.

If it is true that Facebook’s content moderators are actively deleting or suppressing posts supporting the president, Republicans and conservative causes, we are looking at censorship on an unprecedented scale.

Nine Line Apparel has nearly two million followers on Facebook. We are unabashedly patriotic and loudly supportive of law enforcement, military members and first responders.

It’s frankly terrifying that our posts and messages to our customers and followers could switched off in an instant because some anonymous content moderators doesn’t like one of our t-shirt designs.

You know what? Molon labe.
