Like you, we are filled with concern, anxiety, and astonishment as we watch the effects of the coronavirus pandemic wash across this nation and the world. We either know someone, or know someone who knows someone who has felt the effects of the illness.

In the military, when a medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) is required, a specific format of nine categories (or lines) of information is conveyed. The use of the “9-line” organizational method, particularly in a high stress, quickly changing combat environment, helps ensure those wounded get the assistance they need as quickly, safely and efficiently as possible.

As a company from the very start, we’ve wanted to be a “Nine Line” for America.

 

Right now, America needs medical assistance, particularly in the form of personal protective equipment (PPE) for our medical personnel, first responders and those on the front lines of the COVID19 pandemic.

Towards that end, we’ve been tirelessly working to develop solutions to bridge the gap on the critical mask shortages.

Working in partnership with one of our fabric manufacturers, Bella + Canvas, we’re producing low-cost containment masks out of t-shirt material to cut down droplet transmission. To date, we’ve distributed over 700,000 of these masks.

At the same time, we’ve been working with scientists, engineers and the distributors to produce — here in America — a mask built to work like the N-95s, blocking airborne germs that would lead to infection.

Without a dime of federal funding, our unofficial Task Force has been working ‘round the clock to design and test an injection-molded reusable mask with replacement filters.

Our Homeland AMPP (American Made Personal Protective) Mask is composed of all FDA-approved material, but we can’t speed up the FDA approval process.
Last week, we distributed 1,000 of these masks to first responders in our home state of Georgia.

We’re just beginning, but we need your help.

 

We are currently only able to create our AMPP mask via 3D printers which cannot scale production, which means we cannot produce masks quickly enough to satisfy requirements. To scale production, we need an injection mold. We also need to be able to scale production of the filtration material. We’ve set up a GoFundMe page to raise the necessary out-of-pocket costs to achieve this mission.
