WASHINGTON DC May 2016 – Florent “Flo” Groberg, a recent Medal of Honor recipient has teamed up with Nine Line Apparel and Warriors Ethos, a non-profit, to raise money and awareness for military members returning home and transitioning into the corporate world.

The clothing line “Valor” is made by veterans right here in the USA, something uncommon in the textile industry. Every sale raises money for Warriors Ethos and directly helps employ a veteran. “It lets all of us veterans, and those who support us, wear something to the office that represents who we were and what we did before,” says Flo.

When Flo returned home with injuries that forced him to change his career path from active military to something less strenuous he wasn’t sure how to go about it. That’s when he met the people at Warriors Ethos who specialize in providing transition assistance in career planning and placement of wounded service members, veterans, and their families. They helped Flo focus his energy, figure out what he wanted to do, and find work that was rewarding.

After Flo was awarded the Medal of Honor, he made it his mission to use his voice to improve the process veterans go through when transitioning out of the military and into the working world.

Tyler Merritt, co-founder of Nine Line Apparel and an active military member, reached out to Flo to see if they could work together and the idea was born; create a clothing line that represents military members, benefits Warriors Ethos, and can be worn by vets in their new career.

The initial launch of the Valor Collection includes polo shirts, but there are already plans to add additional items that can be worn equally well for business or leisure.
