The Rise of Patriotic Artist, James Lavine admin June 2, 2016 Nine Line News James Lavine grew up in Bloomingdale, GA and began singing in his elementary school choir. After graduating high school James attempted to join the military but was denied due to a heart condition. That’s when he began to take his music seriously and decided to pursue a career in writing and singing. James would sing karaoke at local bars and began posting YouTube videos to get his name out in the public eye. He became popular locally and within a year he had over 300,000 views via YouTube. He is currently residing in Savannah, GA where he and few of his musician buddies are trying to make a living as full time musicians. James has also picked up a sponsorship with Nine Line Apparel, a local patriotic based clothing company. This summer he will be releasing a song called “Til My Last Breathe”, that will be available on ITunes. James books shows often around town and dreams of playing on the Grand Ole Opry stage one day.
